The Honeybee and Smartbee Optimizer Series is the MLPE designed to boost solar module energy output by reducing negative effects caused by shading, mismatch loss, different orientations, and other issues. The advanced module-level monitoring enables users to track module operation status in real time and shutdown the system on time in case of any hazards. Making maintenance much safer and efficient.
How does PV optimizer increases modules power output?
● Ideally, the power generated by a series of 10 PV modules is 3000 watts in total, with every module producing 300 watts equally. Total Power: 300W X 10 = 3000W

● However, in reality, the power of modules could be affected by many causes. In this example, the current of the whole string is lowed by one shaded module, resulting in a significant loss of power production. Total Power: 252Wx9+230W = 2498W
|
● GNE Power Optimizer reduces the negative effect by intelligently adjusting the current and voltage of the module with issues, letting all modules work in optimal condition, and increasing the power generation by up to 25%(In this case, 14.7%). Furthermore, because all modules are connected to the system, the hot spot issue is eliminated, which makes the module much more durable. Total Power: 300Wx9+230W = 2930w(Increase 14.7%)
